International Relations

As the Una Nation is not recognized federally or by the state, we had to find our own way when it came to international diplomacy. We have several treaties with tribes in Canada and the US. Here is a history of our international relations:

• 2015 - Treaty of Peace and Friendship with the Eastern Woodland Metis Nation Nova Scotia of Canada;
• 2015 - Treaty of Peace and Friendship with the Metis Nation of Canada;
• 2016 - Recognized by the city of Springfield, Oregon;
• 2016 - Recognized by the city of Eugene, Oregon;
• 2017 - 2nd Recognition by the city of Eugene, Oregon;
• 2018 - Treaty of Peace and Friendship with the Cherokee Tribe of Georgia;
• 2019 - Treaty of Peace and Friendship with the Chiricahua Apache Mimbreno Nde Nation;
